Catalina was in design for almost two years. Max approached us about remodeling the bar area in his celebrated coffee shop after seeing the work we did for Giant Leap Coffee. We worked closely with him to design the space to meet many requirements for use, equipment and aesthetics.

We developed a set of finishes-- stainless work surfaces, CNC cut and stacked mahogany waterfall bar top, shou sugi ban cypress fishscale tile for the espresso bar front and carbon steel details. We built the bar and mocked it up in shop and installed it in a very limited timeframe to minimize the time the coffeeshop was closed. We're really proud of this one.
